The Ningdian® STST Thermometer Thermowells are recommended to be used on any application, where the temperature sensing element may be exposed to pressurized, corrosive or high velocity media. Additionally, using thermowells allows online sensor change or calibration check. The Ningdian thermowell is also used for Boilers, Building Automation, Chemical Industry or Process Technology, Chill Water Lines
The STST Thermometer Thermowell made in China have a reduced diameter at the tip compared to the base of the shank, allowing for a faster response time than other styles. They are appropriate for use in most light and medium-duty applications without very high temperatures or pressures. Low-lead compliant brass thermowells are used for contact with potable water. But 304&316 stainless steel thermowell is suitable for complex environments such as strong acid and alkali.
