Liquid Filled Pressure Gauge
The Ningdian® Liquid filled pressure gauge made in China is a pressure gauge filled with a liquid, such as silicon or glycerine, to improve its performance in unideal conditions. The case is made of 304 stainless stee, coppor alloy socket with 1/4”, 1/8”, 3/8”, 1/2” NPT, BSP, G thread, brass tube and inner accessories, the window is polycarbonate or safety glass, The liquid can be observed as the pressure gauge is not filled fully, creating an air bubble at the upper part of the gauge.

The China Ningdian® Liquid filled pressure gauge is a shock-resistant pressure gauge.
There are many vibration occasions, such as injection molding machines and compressors. Oil-filled pressure gauges can be used. The difference is there, but it is not a big difference, just the difference between the two use occasions.
What is the difference between Liquid filled pressure gauges and dry pressure gauges?
After filling with oil, the resistance increases, so the pointer is relatively stable, which can prevent the vibration of the pointer, which is what we often call a shock-resistant pressure gauge. Large pressure fluctuations (such as a plunger pump) make the pressure gauge read accurately and prolong its service life.
The answer is definitely NO! This "oil" is mainly two kinds of glycerin and silicone oil. The functions of the two oils are also different. Glycerin mainly plays a role in anti-shock; silicone oil can also play a role in anti-shock, but silicone oil is more resistant to low temperature than glycerin. If the outdoor temperature reaches minus 20 ℃, glycerin will crystallize. , but the silicone oil can also make the meter work properly.
