The case of Ningdian® cast brass case pressure gauge made in China is liquid filled, it has the same function with other liquid filled pressure gauges, The liquid-filled brass cast case pressure gauge improves the dry pressure gauge by introducing a liquid, typically glycerin or silicone, to protect the mechanisms and components of the pressure gauge.
Conditions such as can be found on compressors or pressure washers and other high vibration or wet conditions can cause damage. The liquid is filled in the entire pressure gauge, both the visible side with an indicator on a calibrated scale and the invisible side with the tube mechanisms. The air bubble does not affect the reading of the gauge regardless of the orientation.
